I did not ever meet Mr Emes, however I did go to West St Paul School with his children who took the school bus in from Emes Road on Bus #8. One of my class mates was Douglas Emes who was in many of my classees throughout the school years. The Eames family name was well known within West st Paul and there is a road named after the family name. Belated condolences to Douglas and Family Darcy Smela - Posted by: Darcy Smela (friend of family) on: Mar 22, 2026

My deepest sympathy to the family and especially Mrs. Emes. (Kate). My thoughts of Middlechurch and the fun times at the Emes' and the R&W Riding Academy will live forever in my memories! My nickname 'Pepper' given to me by Mr. Emes still gives me a chuckle. Best Regards, Tom Crerar - Posted by: Tom Crerar (Friend) on: Nov 05, 2007

My deepest sympathy to the Emes family and especially Mrs. Emes. I have many fond memories of Middlechurch and my 'second family', the Emes. The fun at the 'R&W Riding Academy' and my nickname 'Pepper' given to me by Mr. Emes will live in my heart forever. God Bless. - Posted by: Tom Crerar (Friend) on: Nov 05, 2007
